Yeah, he was in the basement! [that's. not inaccurate, but please.] All he really said was that you guys were friends. But yeah, Cloud's with me. Yuffie's at that haunted house though.

[ Well, to him, that seems rather normal, so he doesn't mention it. ]

He seems really attached to the basement. [ Throws that out there. ] So that brat's yours...

[ He means Yuffie, not Cloud. ]

I guess it's not so bad if you wanted privacy...even if it's really dark down there. [honestly she'd believe it if gojo meant cloud, but given his age she can figure out he means yuffie.] Yup, she's ours. She joined us a little later on our journey but she's a part of the team now. I can't say I'm really happy she's here, but at least she's not here alone.

[situationship]

We're thinking of moving one of the lanterns down there, but work in progress.

More kids around than I'd like, but at least they're not sacrificing thirty something kids.

[ Inked words appear on him, spelling "future." ]

[the future...she does catch a glance at the word because that really is different from a lot of the other concepts she's seen so far, and it makes her wonder what, exactly, gojo might be worried about with regards to that.

she also does not point out that some people might consider him a kid, too, even though he's 18. our under 20s are almost half the game.]

The mix of ages is a lot more than I thought, but it's still more kids than I'd like, too. When you think about it, some of them have barely had a chance to really live. I don't know what's worse to consider, that we were brought here on purpose and they're just telling us we weren't, or that it was just bad luck to be selected.

[situationship]

[ He groans... Do not worry. He has pulled the minor card/teen card on someone already, but he isn't a tween!!! ]

It sucks that in the end all of that kind of doesn't matter, either. It's supposed to end with ritual sacrifice, whether our new goat allies are actually allies or not doesn't change that. It just means this can be harder or easier.

[ Kicks at the ground a little, hands in his pockets. ]

Still don't like it. [ .... ] And I don't like not having something to do.

Supposed to end, sure. But we have a chance to make it end another way, so we just have to work with what we have. Even if it turns out those people in the masks won't be allies in the end, we have 39 other ones.

I don't really like not having something to do either. It feels like having too much time on our hands, and having that means something can go wrong later.

Just left with our thoughts! Good or bad.

Think all of us are trustworthy just because we claim to be in the same situation?

Nope. [she trusts people, but she's not stupid.] But I think all of us have the potential to be since we know what's at stake here. It's going to depend on how much trust we give each other to begin with.

Well, I trust everyone enough to not want to die.

[that's more than what aerith can say for some people, but she nods anyway.]

After hearing about the ritual I'd hope so. But if we're here for too long...[some people might go insane.]

[ He's going to staple them to life because dying would be an inconvenience to all of them.

Waits for her to continue her thought. ]

People could start to get really desperate to do anything to escape.

This is just like a half-full or half-empty question.

Aren't those questions usually reserved for situations where one outcome is actually better than the other? These are both kind of bad!

Well, in one of them you're technically alive.

At least until the leeches bleed you dry...does that really count in this case?
