Weell.... my country was invaded by these greedy assholes called Shinra. They leveled towns, killed thousands. After they'd slaughtered so many of our people, they just forced some BS "truce" on us. The old geezers at the top agreed to it, of course. [ derogatory ]
But the rest of us were pissed. Shinra had been running Wutai into the ground for years. We were ready to kick those old farts to the curb. And we had help.... ex-SOLDIERS who had defected from Shinra because they had enough of their crap, and their crimes. And then... revolution! The interim government was born.
Once this war with Shinra is behind us, the whole country's gonna come together to decide what kind of government we want. And we're doing everything we can to make sure it ends in independence.
