Originally, I was going to wish to become the new master of the House. That is my goal.
... But I realized that if I die here, that wish would be meaningless. It wouldn't help anyone.
The Lord Grandfather of the Shadows House has a power that allows him to control people's minds. That's what allows him to maintain his twisted rule over humans and shadows alike. So I wished for that power of his to disappear. If I don't return, then the others will succeed.
